Swimming Lessons
Sundays from 5pm at Oak Park Active Living
Walsall Swimming and Water Polo Club provide quality teaching for any child who needs the essential life skill of being able to swim. Once a child has mastered the basics, the club can offer a structured progression, providing top level coaching towards inter club and national level competition.
The teaching team pride themselves on providing the level of teaching which allows swimmers to gain self-confidence, self-esteem and to achieve their personal goals with well-structured sessions.
Led by Gwyn Davies, Swim England qualified coach and teacher, assisted by senior swimmers who are also qualified teachers
All the people who administer the club are volunteers who once innocently turned up with their children and got involved. Tell us if you think you can lend a hand.
Walsall Swimming Club welcomes:
Complete beginners - who cannot swim unaided- age 4-6 only.
Those who can swim 5m without aids - age 4-7 only.
Confident swimmers who can swim lengths on at least 2 strokes.
Trials are every Sunday at 5pm at Oak Park.
